Can you show me a picture of the folder structure concerned, including those dots of course ?
(which btw I implied solved here (about the dots) ... maybe you didn't get that and talk about another situation in the first place)

No no Peter,
the DOT problem seems to be solved. Very good, thanks. Sorry for the misunderstanding.

I am talking about a situation when the artwork (folder.jpg) is not in the album map, but it is 1 level up (parent). For example I have a collection (box) of 4 albums in 1 map (parent), including the artwork belonging to all 4 of them. The 4 maps containing the music do not contain any artwork. In the library area, I would expect all 4 albums to inherit the artwork from their parent. However, no artwork is show for any of the 4 albums.

Cheers,
Eric

This is exactly the situation. In my case without the artwork being shown. So, it MUST be something in my setup/systemenvironment.
I will find it.
Thank you, Eric.

Problem solved !

I deleted the config file and created a new setup,
AND
I unticked the max 100 albums in the Library Area.

Thanks, Eric.

Ah !!
Now I found the rootcause. This is the rule:

If "Simple Search" in the Settings Area is switched on, Albums without Coverart do not inherit it from the parent

I was not aware, but good to know!

Cheers,
Eric.
