Title: XX won't start with a 7 seconds track
Post by: JohanZ on April 04, 2010, 03:11:53 pm
Hi Peter,

Today i was listening to the Matthäus-Passion Ton Koopman (1993). Disc III contains some tracks of 7 seconds. When i start XX with this track i get an "XXEngine3.exe has stopped working" error. When i start with the track before (>7 seconds) all works ok.

Yes, this is a known issue. But thank you.

Funny, two years ago I used the Matthäus Passion to enable the playing of short tracks in general. :)

Today my wife made the remark that we were without easter music during easter breakfast. The only thing I thought was "but otherwise we would have the Matthäus Passion again".

hey there Pierre,

thought I would just give this a bump as I noticed it was still an issue in latest version ( zb ).

I queued up Isao Suzuki's "BlowUp 2" album and it has a 9 second intro track which kills Engine#3(4) each time at play commencement.

Strangely though, if I reorder the tracks so they are played second, first, third etc, then that short track one plays OK.

merci beaucoup,

Russ

I know your coffee breaks in the outback can't last longer than 4 seconds or so, so I now solved it for 0.9z-1.

Here in the outback coffee is too exotic. We made do with ground dried dingo dung, slow brewed over a redgum charcoal fire. Keeps you awake for hours, which is a blessing because it allows more time to listening to music.  :teasing:

Looking forward to z-1.

Dank je
