571  Ultimate Audio Playback / Music Storage and convenient playback / Re: How do you get album pictures into the XX player on: June 27, 2007, 01:19:19 am
Hi Chris,

........store the album cover in the folders from which you link the library

The last! The albumfolder. You rename the picture to "folder.jpg"

Hi Peter,

........better ideas.....????..

Most of the musicfolders I have, does not contain a picture (at the moment). On the TAB "Playlist" however the software still minimize the tracktitle space, even when there is no picture to show.

Your suggestion of switching of the picture seems to me a good idee. As long as there is a picture to show. Otherwise you can show the complete playlist.

Hi Peter,

how are the buttons (and all) on such a screen opposed to useablity by your fingers ?

With a special pencil I activate the buttons to controle XX. The album picture can be smaller. Or make it optional to display it. Or make an extra TAB for the picture with realtime tracktime and title. (better options..... blush1)

..........you say touch screen, but will you ever (or often) use that feature.

So I can leave keyboard and mouse away and select with a pencil the tracks. Mine audio PC or screen is not in front of me, but at a distance.

Johan

Hello Peter,

After testing different versions of XXHighEnd they all have the same problem.  In the playlist I can only see 5 characters of the trackname. Number and Time are ok.  I am using a 8" TFT Touch screen for mine Audio PC. It is build for a resolution 640 x 480. Is there a solution for this problem?

Johan

Hi Peter,

.............. blush1 You are right, it must be friday. I have test it! But #2 plays tracks of 11 minutes. So I forgot the 6 minutes limitation.

So that problem is solved!

Johan

Hello Peter,

I don't use #1 because its limitation of 6 minutes. I am a lover of music of the 70th. So it often the music takes more than 6 minutes.

I get the error in #2. When I have started the player, I never touched it.

During playback the music suddenly stops with this error.

I'm using the official Realtec ALC883 drivers......are there other drivers?

When I select a other Output device and I switched XXHighEnd off and start it again then it don't remember the last setting!

Regards,

Johan

Hi Peter,

In the last versions of your Software I sometimes get the following errors during playback:

"Out of memory.....if you have 2 GB of internal memory, please notify the developer about your soundcard" I am using SPDIF signal from the on board sound card Realtec ALC883 HD Audio

When I am playing some music without a gap between two numbers I still got a break in the music! Gapless is checked.

I am using a Home Theater PC with a Infrared device and a display. I suppose that there are special adjustments necessary in the software to control XXHighEnd via a remote controle? Am I correct? Are there any plans in that direction?

When can we buy a activation-key? Any idee about the price?

Regards,

Johan
