Title: 09z1 on XP Problem? Post by: Scroobius on June 17, 2010, 12:12:11 pm Hi Peter - I use 9z1 (KS engine #4 buffer 1024) running on XP on my study system. I can adjust volume on XX no problem but I can also adjust it on the XP volume control. This is not really a problem as this is only my study system but I thought that KS output would bypass all things Microsoft. I dont have this ** feature ** on my main system running under vista.

I heard this from one other person so far, although he was on W7. IIRC we could reason that it was the soundcard doing this, that nicely being connected to the Windows volume control. I am not sure how to proove that this is the case indeed, but there should be at least a volume control in the soundcard (driver) to let it work like this. So, maybe you can see something ? Peter |
