Actually the xxhighend licence key utilization seems to be motherboard oriented. So, it is difficult to transfer the licence when you upgrade your PC. For your information, I bought DxO software to process photo correction for more than 2 years. During this period, I changed twice my PC and has been able to transfer the DxO licence key from my old PC and redeployed it to the new PC, via the DxO web site (like a pivot). It is really easy to upgrade the HW with this architecture and continue to legally use the software. The pain for it, is that you need to be connected on the web from the new PC. The "transfer" of the Activation actually *is* in XXHighEnd, but, it doesn't work for most. The advice therefor is : don't even try and I'll get you a new one whenever needed. Also see your PM (from the forum). Best regards, Peter |
