Hi Peter,
When I only want to reinstall 1.186a the code I have should be valid, right?  But how do I clean out the previous installs so I can freshly install 1.186a again. 

That is all I wan't to do for now. 

maybe later i will upgrade to 2.xx when w10 is more stable...

If on the other hand using Paypal and getting refund is only way then i will do that although I don't like this way.  But still I would like to clean out the faulty install completely.  How?

Old Install also has blue title bar.
I had to go back to 09z-9b to get the red Title bar, but when entering setup I got the mentioned errors about values 02 and 04 again and after that I could again not go to playlist area.  Aftaer quitting and restarting XXHE 09z-9b the title bar is now also blue here....

I do not like the way of using creditcard again and again to get my software to work....is there another way?

ps. as reply to your earlier question. No i did not do anything with user accounts or something. Just playing music with XXHE or watching movies with Jriver is what this pc is used for...

Title Bar...If you mean the text in upper left corner sying XXHighEnd....etc  this text is blue.

I do not use XTweaks.

After renaming NoXtweaks I can enter settings with no errors :-)

Also now since reinstalling the player stops suddenly after different lengths of time...similar to what the demo version does.  It is "Undemoed" with the code I had when purchasing the program, and it accepted the code plus it looks registered (not demo) f.ex. in settings some values can not be set in demo mode, but I can, so it looks "undemoed" but acts like demo with the sudden stops...
What is happening here....

Hi Peter,
Thanks for your answer. I tried renaming that file to ActiveSbak, but the same error messages still pops up.  It happens in both the new install that I installed in a new folder and in the old install that I kept.

I just tried reinstalling the XXHE software.  It gives the warning that many windows will pop up and must be closed.  But no windows popped up except the set-up procedure and XXHE itself. I guess it was not uninstalled completely...Or else the 10 or so windows would pop up.

  It still warns about the 02 and 04 values when entering settings area? And it is not possible to exit settings area into Playlist area...

Is there a way to uninstall XXHE completely for a fresh install?

I push the little S in upper right corner to enter settings area.  Then i get the error messages.
When pushing the little L to go out of settings area and into playlist it does not work.  I have to quit xxhighend and restart it to get it right again.

Hi Peter.
I have been using XX for several years now, but suddenly has a problem.

After entering Setup There is flw. error:
something wrong at obtaining values O4
pressing OK I get a new error:
something wrong at obtaining values O2; possibly a reboot is the only thing to help.
after again ok:
there is an ....exception in the program...etc.
and I can choose continue or cancel.
I press continue and can use setup.
after setting up I can not get back to the library area again.
any idea what to look for? what are O2 and O4?

Peter You are right.
After a reboot 500Mb SC is possible.

Everything is good now....and the sound Shocked
At least with 130Mb.  Have not listened long to 500Mb yet.

What was the trick?

That final "s" on administrators was important...BUT...in Danish the plural of administrator is with "er" in the end...
Typing that like shown here it was accepted, and after a reboot music was flowing instead of the usual warnings.

With straight Contiguous I can go up to 130Mb SFS.  Is that about normal with 8Gb memory?

Now it is time for some serious listening!!   sounds good !

I tried it.  It is only accepted without the last "s" in Administrators:

Ntrights +r SeLockMemoryPrivilege  -u Administrator

But still the same "Necessary Privileges...Reboot..." Message,  So no luck yet.

My Windows run 64 bits...

It seems that the Local Security Policy menu does not exist in Home Premium  unhappy

Peter Don't be sorry.  I really appreciate you can find time to help.  I did like you said:
only 1 track
stop and restart XX
play....
immediately comes an error now saying  "necessary privileges have been set, Reboot to make them effective.."
after a minute or so another message with:
"engine #4 did not start within..."

Tried rebooting but doesn't help.  It keeps telling me to reboot..    unhappy
I attached the new XX and X3 files.  No new X3PB file was generated since i first started my PC this afternoon...not even after rebooting??

To boleary,  Console is a Host for arbitrator that is an active x-over to split between Quads and subs + room eq.  I will try to disable and see if helps...

Hi Peter.
I know you are a busy person, but did you think of anything that could cause mixed or straight cont. not working?
Could it be soundcard-driver related maybe?
Does Hyperthreading need to be active or not?
