Sweet child in time what the flac just happened.... A large box with a plain wrapper arrived at my house a couple of days ago. Inside was my modified NOS1 "Mourinho Edition" Needless to say some hours of tweaking followed. I have just finished a session, I am still trembling, the hairs on my arms are still vertical. What a delight, almost erotic! It's like sex with your clothes on. I am not a born reviewer so I must end now before this gets pornographic & I get banned (besides it's addictive)…. Jesus, or should I say St Peter
Well done Jumping Jack Flashier

Hey Peter Been upgrading the listening room first, gone from 3.5 x 4.5 metres to 6 x 8 metres allowing my system to take it's proverbial coat off & stretch it's legs. My antique NOS has been working fine in it's new housing with minimal venting as has everything else bearing in mind there are no fans anywhere. Sounds too good to mess with for a while....but to quote Arnie "I'll be back"
Best Happy Jack

Damn, I thought I could sneak in through the back door without you seeing me! Caught me red handed with my original NOS which has been powered up since day one, in a permanent state of readiness. However, funny you should mention Windows 10....I like to reboot the PC from time to time to "refresh" it. But each time it loses the juli@ interface & needs "persuading" to relocate it. Maybe it's time for an upgrade, what are the options? By the way, not only is my NOS original, but I think I was your original member when we migrated from Bert's site all those years ago....God I'm getting old Happy days to you both & whilst I'm in here, Hi Bert

Mani I presume someone is using the Orelo's....? With presumably more success? You must be gutted that the sound was not up to the looks. Were your current speakers salvaged from the wreck of the Nautilus? Horns can be so beautifully quirky in appearance & for me, so far, sonically superior.... (Still Swingin') Jack

To all the grieving Spaniards out there I have 4 words of comfort, Marc Marquez & Rafael Nadal, gladiators both! Can't wait until 8 o'clock this evening though, going to a mates house to watch his newly painted walls dry! Could be fun, besides there's nothing else happening. Name withheld

In the early 70's I had an Eagle amp with built in graphic equaliser. With it I could change 'everything' about the sound. Within a few years I had a Meridian, it turned on, up & down, that's it. I could change nothing. It played 'flat'. XXHE is full of 'tone' controls & one day I would like it to be more like my old Meridian, on, up & down. Maybe there will be a default version at some point where coupled with a dog's bollocks PC there will be no more bloody tweaking! Peter.....?
