Hi Peter,
After installing win10, xxhe202 and nos1a 103 driver i get following message when i start xxhe "Necessary privileges have been set. Reboot to make them effective" . But after a reboot i get the same message. How do i fix this loop?

Ps Installing the new nos1 driver gives an error message during installation.

No administrator rights on the xxhe hyperlink?

Best regards Johan

With the Insider Preview automatic updates can not be shut off.

See: https://4sysops.com/archives/turn-off-automatic-updates-in-windows-10-build-9926/

Disabling the Windows Update service: "....... another option to turn off Automatic Updates altogether. All we need to do is stop the Windows Update service and make sure that it won’t start again. I recommend to first check if updates are currently downloaded; if so, wait until all updates are installed. Then, type “services” in the Windows 10 search box and click View Local Services."

67  Ultimate Audio Playback / XXHighEnd Support / Volume Normalization and used cores on: May 09, 2015, 11:59:24 am
Hi Peter,
I'm always using Volume Normalisation. The normalisation proces cost special with high res material a lot of time. When loading Flac files i see during that proces the use of all processor cores. The "used core indicator" shows during the normalisation process the use of one core. Is that correct? Is it possible to use all cores for this normalisation process?

.........an SFS of 4 (or maybe 2) being the most crucial.......
i have changed the sfs to 2 and its working ok.
I didn't realize it was so critical. Mostly of the time when you have troubles you need to increment sfs.
Thanks.

Peter,
The other settings remain as you suggested?
Minimized OS;
Stop Desktop Services;
Stop WASAPI Services;
Keep LAN Services - Persistent; off
(and I have set Use Remote Desktop - just because I do;
Unattended.

71  Ultimate Audio Playback / XXHighEnd Support / Custom filter: Message "Playback stopped ....data did not arrive in time" on: April 07, 2015, 11:16:44 pm
Hi Peter,
After a stable situation of the system (no XXHE stops during playback) i switched from Arc Predict to Custom. After one track XXHE stops without user interference and shows a message "Playback stopped because the data did not arrive in time". When i switched back to Arc Predict it works without a message.
Playback is unattended
See logfiles

Last weekend I did the same tests and try to increment sfs to 60 no effect. I'm using Ramdisk.

Any suggestions?

Hi Peter,
This morning only the first two cd's had stops every 4 minutes. Without a change it looks like all next cd's are playing well now without stops.
Any suggestions?

Best regards and a happy easter

Hi Peter,
After your earlier suggestion to change the services setting, it has the following effects on the stops.
- after a play comment no music direct a stop, moving the mouse starts the music;
- i have used a stopwatch and every 4 minutes there is a stop untill the end of the cd.

After selecting stop desktop / stop remaining / stop wasapi / stop all services: music starts after a play command and no more stops during this cd.
