Title: Any new versions soon?
Post by: LydMekk on January 20, 2008, 12:46:42 am
Hey Peter: 14 days since your last release! What gives?  ;)
Nah, just pulling your leg...looking forward to the next release though due to many small bugs with the 9t-5. Sound quality is superb though. Has reverted to Q=14, Q doesn't seem so important anymore in this version? Hmm... F.ex. the program crashes and starts another XX sometimes when I'm playing attended and is into the Library Button on the far left, adding tracks to the ongoing playlist etc. etc. Settings below. Clean Vista and XX install, nothing else.

Happy New Year btw.!  :prankster:

hiya
I've had almost the opposite feeling about 95-T  I like it a lot.  I'm not getting errors at the moment... but I certainly am not asking XXHE to do all it can do, I'm sure.  I really started to explore Q1 more for .95-T: I've been slowly moving it up from 14 to 18 normal, where I find it sounding very musical and lively.  If the upper mids start to punch out too pronouncedly I go down to Q1 17.  If I go up to 19 or 20 things start to sound strained and out of phase,,, I still need to go up there and try invert more, but I don't think that did it.

Anyways, My concern is that SQ stay as high as it's gotten; I like what I hear out of .95-T

That's a known one and is caused by the "modal" Open Dialog box. Do you have a special reason to use that ? I mean, why not using Explorer ?

I think in a next version the Open button will be removed anyway. I don't see the use of it anymore, which of course is related to the latest version you don't have yet. :)
0.9t-6 will be up today. Quite a few bugs have been solved in there; many take over a day to work out.
