Title: engine 3 & buffer size.
Post by: astacus21 on January 05, 2011, 12:05:30 am
Hi

I've seen that in engine 4 there is an option to change buffer size. Is this possible for engine 3 too?

Thx

This is Yes and No;

Internall some things happen which will change the buffer size, but it is not under your direct control. You can well say that the buffer size is optimized regarding the situation of your PC.

Q1 works very similar though, and it would be quite legal to say that the lower Q1 the lower the buffer size.

I hope this helps you a bit !

PS: This works like this on purpose. So, before your next question is "can it be in ?", the answer is No. It can allright, but it won't be done because it will undermine the current means of working.
