Post by: juanpmar on April 09, 2013, 12:25:11 pm
I have a problem with 0.9z-8-3a. The Alt+U or Alt+D to turn up or down the volume level donīt work, although in the wallpaper appears the volume level as changed

Juan - Think about other settings you changed. Not that any of them officially implies "volume change can't work", but I think it is possible to "stress" your system so it does not work.

Btw, quite unbelievable when the Wallpaper shows it.

Peter - Ok, it works, after turning up and down the volume from -42db to -30db I realized that the volume change is very noticeable from one extreme to the other but step by step from -1.5db to the next level it is hardly perceptible. The change seems to take more time than before, it is like if the volume level changes not as quickly but in a smoother way. That could be the reason why it was hard to perceive the change from, letīs say, -30db to -28db. Of course it could be due to that the system is now more stressed. Iīm using your same settings (Ultimate, SFS120, etc.).

Every once in a while I've had the same problem with the volume not changing, but it's always been with a high res file. If I stop and restart the track the problem goes away.
