Title: Text after comma not shown on mirrorred cover art...
Post by: BertD on September 08, 2011, 07:12:15 pm
Hi Peter,

Not sure if I will see it in the future but now I do and it is annoying to watch. Not sure if this was mentioned before but if, then sorry for the reminder.

See picture.

Bert

Not known Bert. Thank you.

Hi Bert, just a comment on the above from me ....

wouldn't it be easier to simply rename those track names to something like "01 - 4-30 AM etc etc" , "02 - 4-33 AM etc etc" and so on ?

It would take a user about 2 minutes to amend, but Peter may have to spend hours chasing down the piece(s) of code responsible, then add yet more code to accommodate, what is generally regarded, as a file going against the usual naming convention.

Given that Peter hasn't noticed the issue before, not anyone else here mention it, suggests it is a rare occurrence and one best handled by the user themselves.

Cheers,

Russ

Aren't hours and minutes separated by a colon anyway? not a .

It's 4:20 here.

Indeed it is a dot but it looks like a comma in XX (probably the used font) hence the confusion.

Probably yes...

That's for Peter to decide I guess and being a perfectionist, wouldn't it be nice to be able to tackle the issue. At least that is what I would do...

Yes, but Windows doesn't like a colon to be used hence the choice for a dot...

Looking closer ... it indeed looks like a comma. But also it does not. Something else - like a kind of Greek character.

If you post the XX log file of this I can be sure.

Btw, if this indeed is supposed to be a comma ... there's nothing in there that I know of that does something with commas. Dots yes ...

Let me know,
Peter

Yep ... look at e.g. track 9. There are the REAL commas ...
(in the track name)
