Here we are again with a price increase. - The 32GB of memory at first was ~60 euros while now it is 185 (and rising); Yes, and now it is 290 euros !! For this reason I had to increase the price again, but with 50 euros only. This is because by now the processors (all of them) dropped about 50 euros which will be related to the EUR-USD currency rate. Yesterday we bought memory for 5 systems against this price (hey, at this moment it is not even allowed to buy more at one time), so for these 5 systems the sales price is fine (see first post in this topic with per today adjusted prices). But 3 systems (or maybe 4) are already sold ... Thanks, Peter

- In Task Manager: File -> Run New Task -> explorer explore away, It's that simple:) I know. And it is a "stupid" thing to do, because you start many services and things which should not run and which won't be killed again unless you stop and restart playback ... Peter PS: I use Jriver to view movies on the same PC, and the "activate windows" message is a bit annoying when I watch a movie, that's all:) Then activate your OS. Which will upgrade it as well.

Well, I can't reason out how that would work. All I know is, Henk, that I heard you talk about starting Explorer etc. which makes me scratch my head. And of course if you bring up the GUI (still playing in Unattended mode).
I'd say there isn't even an opportunity for Windows to show that, when in Unattended (there's no canvas for it). Maybe when you don't use the Wallpaper Coverart ?

Arjan,
Hmm ...
In any event the shorter the SFS the sorther the burst. Coincidentally I changed mine from 0.9 to 1.5 yesterday, so maybe I can recognize it starts to happen to me too (it did once for 2.08 but I have it 1-2 times per year anyway (1 time will be closer to the truth)).
What is your Q1/xQ1 ? (mine is 14/1)
Peter

Hi Henk, I was referring to the topic and the consistency plus the help in the .bat itself, so you could not make mistakes. That is all. And that you very clearly do not at all what's in that texts, is also clear, right ? In other words : If you think you can automate things, which for a reason is not in any help or topic described, you are on your own. Also, might you be able to find the topics/posts of concern about automatic start etc., you will see that I explicitly NOT advise that. So you can do it, but now it is *you* who must know how. And strangely enough, there it goes wrong. Funny eh ? If I reboot in MINos, my own .cmd file does not work as intended. It either never even starts copying files to the E:\ drive, or it does it way too late. The service taking care of these things won't run. Later it might start for other reasons (decision of XXHighEnd) and again later it will shut off again (XXHighEnd again). And then later it will start. And so on. Good answer eh ? haha In Normal OS all services just happily run, so there you can't have the problem. Now, follow the procedure as I have written it, be a bit less lazy and all will be fine. OK ? Peter PS: Another advice : don't try to force that (whatever) service to run because it will be one big mess. I promise !

Hi there Henk, This works well in MAXos, but for some reason not so peachy in MINos. I suppose you can guess that this is hardly a description I can deal with. Agreed ? haha So now I wonder, what am I doing wrong? I had never done this before, but as I am rather lazy, I thought to streamline Peter's process a little.
That. Your lazyness is fine though. I am not sure whether you read / used this topic : Installing and using a RAMDisk (IMDisk) but notice that at the bottom in there there's this link which includes a RAMA.bat. If you already used that, then I suppose your problem is that you removed the aiding texts from it, so now you don't know what to do any more (?). Anyway, I'd keep that A: en B: drive the same because otherwise the drive letters may be occupied (A: and B: never, unless you you still use floppy drives ). Now you can not make mistakes if you follow the "guide". I don't know better as that this works for everyone, also in MinOS. Best regards, Peter

I had to check if I played the right album. It’s like the emphasis on some instruments is different that what I was used to. Hi Stanley, I guess that you finally ran into such a situation which I have been telling about a dozen times : you're quite sure you never heard the album before ("in this version"). Quite amazing eh ? So yes, I fully understand what you mean and assumed the change is for the better, you can nicely revisit all of your favourite albums the upcoming two years, waiting for the next upgrade. Haha. Thank you and have fun ! Peter

Dear Tore, Look for this text in the 2.08 Release Notes : Proceeding on the above, look here :Each song do not have a coverart? This remark is not really clear to me. Well, because they do. But you can see that (also follow that part of the Release Notes and you see it happening in there), so what is your question really about ? Just ask more if I am not clear enough, OK ? Regards, Peter
