Title: 0.9Z-7: Activation with Code not Paypal--new restore point
Post by: boleary on August 18, 2012, 02:08:13 am
If all is right with your current 9Z-7 setup you might want to make a new restore point now. Today I was ripping and listening to various cd's which meant  going back and forth between minimised and full OS. At one point I couldn't get out of minimised so I used my trusty restore point. Once restored I had to reactivate XXhighend! Am assuming this happened because the OSX file from the official release was eliminated during the restore. So if I had created a new restore point with the "New" OSX file from my last succesful activation, I assume I wouldn't have had to reactivate?

The good news is I was able to cut and paste the activation code after following the procedure requiring that one uses XX enough --play a track/close /open/ play a track ,etc. Hope this post makes sense !

I don't think that much of this happened like this. At least I don't see a relation anywhere. But when the part is left out that the install had to be redone, well ...
Ah, you did not perform a reinstall ? Okay then you are now using another version. Or not because you extracted that again. Or not because you tried to install the same version several times and made a restore point somewhere in between. Or something else. Haha.

Summarized, how it got that you needed to activate - no idea. But since either or all of the above must have happened, what to think.
