Title: Tidal prepare stream crash
Post by: Arjan on December 11, 2015, 10:50:58 pm
Hi Peter,

When I do a Tidal prepare stream for Sufjan Steven's album Illinois, xxhighend crashes after an error message about track 8 not being available.

When checking in Tidal there seems to be some "" in the title. That might be the issue?

regards, Arjan

Hey Arjan,

I don't know how you manage to get that far (track 07/08), but with me it fails at track 02. On what ? Look at its name :

02 - The Black Hawk War, Or, How to Demolish an Entire Civilization and Still Feel Good About Yourself In the Morning, Or, We Apologize for the Inconvenience But You're Going to Have to Leave Now, Or....flac

And this is too long. :swoon:

So many of these stupidities in there, so now that ...

At this moment you can't overcome this (tweak it) but I am already working on the solution.
Btw, never heard of him but looks nice ! Will try one tonight. No, let's make it this one, just to speed up with the solution. :)

Regards,
Peter

Solved for the next version.
It even plays. :smirk:

:offtopic:

Afer 1.5 minute into the second track (of 2 minutes) I switched it off, and our Paul here said the same as what was in my mind : "it builds up and builds up and ... into nothing".
Takes you out of breath without reason.

yes ... Yes ... YES ? ... Nah.
Yes ... YES ... YES ? ... Nah again.
YES ... YES ... YES ... ? Nothing.

Tiring. But then I talked Paul into a subject for an exam piece he has to make for school. Maybe that's why.
