Title: Coverart display options
Post by: Eric on January 19, 2014, 12:31:52 pm
Hello Peter,

Regarding Coverart: it can be displayed in the Library Area, and it can be displayed during playing music. Currently it is both yes or both no, right?
When I browse through the Library Area, I appreciate having the coverart displayed to select the music I like to play.
However, when the music has started, there is no point for me having the coverart displayed, because usually I have the Monitor switched off anyway.
Have you considered making these 2 different Coverart options independent? Would it matter for SQ (assuming that it could be implemented)?

Thanks
Eric

Hi Eric,

Non Comprendo;
If you'd wanted the Coverart *not* to show in the Library Area then you would be right. But in your case it is a matter of "Show Coverart" (separately settable for Attended).

So ?

Peter

Peter,
That's right, I want Coverart to be shown in the Library Area.
This would imply that the Coverart is also shown during playing unattended, correct? However there is no need for that (for me) because my Monitor is off anyway.

Cheers
Eric

Eric,

I can only repeat it :

Can't you find that setting, or what ?

Peter

Got it (finally)!  :pardon:
When the button "Don't do anything with Coverart" is NOT active (= blue), coverart (if available) will always be displayed in the Library Area.

Thanks
