Title: No sound from 0.9z-1 and RAMDisk
Post by: arvind on October 09, 2010, 01:12:45 pm
Hi Guys,

I copied & pasted 0.9z-1 to Ramdisk, but I am not getting any sound. There are no error reports. When I go back to XXHE on my conventional C Drive it plays normally. Can anyone help me in what I have done wrong?

Should be your XX settings somewhere. Don't forget to look at Q1.
But generally ... wrong Sound Device selected ?

Hi Peter,

All my settings are the same as XXHE on C Drive. Sound device is also selected correctly; still no sound through Ramdisk.

Hmm ... I would say that technically it is impossibly that something makes a difference here ...

Make very very sure you are starting XXHighEnd from the RAMDrive (check the shortcut icon etc.). Or proove it by yourself by activating the Log files, and see whether the TemporaryData folder under the XX RAMDrive folder contains (new) log files.

And once the log files are activated anyway, you may look in the X3PB log files whether you see a difference with those from the normal C: drive. Or post them ...

Strange.

Hi Peter,
