Title: XXHE 2.03/Win 10074 problem with last settings
Post by: arvind on December 16, 2015, 11:39:10 am
Hi Peter,

When I play XXHE, Include Garbage collect is at switched off position as well as SFS is at 0.12.

After a reboot when I bring up XXHE Include Garbage collect is always on & SFS is 1.00. All other settings remain the same as at the time of playing XXHE. Only the above 2 settings change.

Best regards,

Arvind

Hi Arvind,

Also regarding your other problems - something seems to be not right with your Windows 10 install. But what ...

Can you try to tell me what you all do in order to keep the date of the PC so all keeps on working ? And then especially the *when*. Thus, your sequence(s) of the day ?

Clear what I mean ?

Regards,
Peter

I have date set back 2 years for some time and no problem at all, that after I have activated XXHE with a September date. I'm not using RDC though.

Thank you Colin,

I am not even sure whether it influences, and the thing which was in my mind are the Settings backup files (see in your XXData folder) which backups won't work well when we set back the date each day. But that is only the backups ...

For Arvind it merely looks like when Unattended is in order the current session is eliminated prior to the (normal) saving of the settings, but that music plays (I can't even imagine the combination but alas). And next Alt-x (ehm, AutoHothey running from where ???) brings up ... well, the Login screen (see other topic).

This is all just too weird ...

Peter
