Title: HiFace two problem
Post by: tillen on June 01, 2012, 08:16:08 pm
Hello Peter
M2Tech has come with a new HiFace called HiFace TWO. I was the lucky owner of one, until I discovered that it would not play with 24 bit files in KS. Have tried the old driver from HiFace but it is still the same. Is this is an driver problem? Is there anything more I can do to solve it without a new driver? Just ask for more info if you need, and I will try to answer as good as I can.
BTW With my new pc I have come a long step furter in my low cost to HiEnd project, that means that I am not one of you lucky guys that have an NOS1 dac yet.
Keep up the good work

Arnt

Hi Arnt,

Sorry you are having some problems and thanks for your kind words. A small question :

Do you mean that the old one just still works (I guess so, but I want to be sure).

OK.

The first HiFace allowed for both DAC Needs = 24 and 32. Maybe that is not so anymore (so, try both).

If you upsample 16/44.1 2x, that also doesn't work ?
