Ultimate Audio Playback / Your thoughts about the Sound Quality / 9y-1d and bass response...and 9y-3

Hi all! Back after a long summer holiday.
Tried the new 9y-1d version today. First impressions:
Very clear and detailed in the treble, very nice resolution overall, good width of the soundstage.
But I think I hear lower level from the midbass down to deep bass than upwards.
The bass is almost played back somewhat cautiously and definitely with lower output than the upper half of the register.
Have updated my settings in my profile.

Morning,
Running very good, latest version.
1 thing doh, every album the last track stops at 1 or 2 min before ending. (But could also be last 10 sec)
Roy
InspirationThis is something known (to some) and I never could find it 6a skips the last piece of the last song in the playlist). And since so many things have been rewritten in this area, I kind of hoped it was away. So it is not. But : Somehow suddenly a theoretical bug on this sprung to my mind. And, just checked it, and it is true. I never could mimic this myself so I can't check whether the solution helps, but I'm sure LydMekk can make some arrangements with Diana Krall and check. So, should be solved in the next version (0.9-y1a or 0.9y-2). Hi folks! Tried it now with the new 9y-1d version, placed 5 different songs from 3 diff. albums in a playlist and played them. When the last song nears completion it plays audibly normal, but the track counter at the bottom stops about 10% from 100% but the track plays to the normal end as it should. lol.... The counter also starts going away on each song BEFORE any sound emerges from that song. The counter is probably around 5% into the track when the song itself starts playing audibly.

Observation: When playing the two tracks mentioned, when at number one, I tried to add another, e.g. third track to the list.
What then happens when track 2 comes to an end, the progress pointer skips to the next song...but keeps playing number 2 to completion before starting track 3. But the progress bar is already 15 percent into track 3 when track 3 starts audibly...
Then track 3 nears completion, it nearly plays all the way, but goes silent around 5-10 percent from completion. But the progress bar goes to the end though...LOL.

Tested now with version 7. Same problem. Did as you asked over with the two same tracks.
Observed it the last minute on the last track.
When about 10-20 seconds is remaining, the player goes abruptly silent but the progress pointer keeps moving. Just before the player goes silent the blue/gray marking in the playlist (which is marking the songs whos active) dissapears.
And again, this only happens with more than one track in the list and only with the last track in a playlist, no matter how many has been selected.
Again, plain EAC WAVs 16/44 CD-tracks.

Thx P. Testing with version 7 now.
Just pulling your leg somewhat with SP1...coming from a point of view that SPs are correcting bugs as I am a IT Tech myself and see what better results come from installing servicepacks...
The SP1 "flows*" better and is less "jerky", better multitasking etc. than SP0 inVista. My 2c.
Will post when the test run has concluded.
