Title: XXHighEnd 2.00 Crash Post by: KnB on May 18, 2015, 09:27:48 pm XX 2.0 will not start.
Same problem in min and normal OS Installed under C:/XXHighEnd/200 Description: Stopped working Problem signature: Problem Event Name: APPCRASH Application Name: XXHighEnd.exe Application Version: 1.0.5611.27125 Application Timestamp: 55535a1b Fault Module Name: appface.dll Fault Module Version: 3.1.2.3 Fault Module Timestamp: 4853c921 Exception Code: c0000005 Exception Offset: 00025fff OS Version: 6.2.9200.2.0.0.256.48 Locale ID: 2057 Title: Re: XXHighEnd 2.00 Crash Post by: PeterSt on May 19, 2015, 08:15:20 am I am staring at this for over 5 minutes - can do so 5 more minutes and more, but ...
I really have no idea why this happens in your case. Unless now a 100 others are going to tell that it happens to them too. :scratching: It could be the first time in my life to suggest that maybe something went wrong with the download (which I obviously won't believe anyway). So maybe delete this folder, download again and retry ? :tomatoes: Peter Title: Re: XXHighEnd 2.00 Crash Post by: KnB on May 19, 2015, 08:48:47 am Hi Peter,
Here are some more information: 1. Saved 2.00a on C:/xxhighend/200 - started the software without changing to normal OS. 2. No Messages, not even the initial Message (about installing 1-10...) Only Message that it could not start. 3. Then I restarted 1.186, all went OK starting etc. But the playback did not start.... no errors, software just shut down after a few minut after "play" 4. Changed to normal OS, got this Messages: Error 02 writing value T1:13 *something went wrong resetting XTweak data to normal state. This is no real problem, but performance issues must be taken in account. 5. Change to normal OS. Still same problem With playback from 1.186 6. Still not possible to start 2.00, I did a New download and extracted content from rar file to a New location on C 7. When attempt to start 2.00 I this time got the initial Windows regarding installing 0-10, before it stopped. Maybe something went wrong due to first start in minimized OS?, or maybe something with the download? I re installed the 1.186, (demo mode) started playback and all was normal. My old registered Version does still not work... I did load to a previous recovery point, no changes. Restarted computers and changed to minimized and normal OS several times, (Always Error 02:13 when changing to normal) phuu, I might need my back up hard drive... Quote 7. When attempt to start 2.00 I this time got the initial Windows regarding installing 0-10, before it stopped. This is odd of course. Can you reproduce this so you can copy similar data to here as in your first post ? For others who run into the problem of XXHighEnd crashing ... please announce in this topic. To be honest I still have no clue at this moment, but maybe I can get it running just the same. Peter Title: Re: XXHighEnd 2.00 Crash Post by: KnB on May 20, 2015, 01:44:39 pm Thank you for outstanding support as always!
All working very well, and a big improvment from 1.186 - seem to be more stable and much more convenient to use. Sound? too early to comment but yes very promising. :) Peter, can you recommend a start setting? And maybe settings you prefer today. Title: Re: XXHighEnd 2.00 Crash Post by: jpetek on May 20, 2015, 07:14:37 pm I have the same problem with Win 8.1 64 Bit No chance to start. The old version works without problems. Win 7 32 Bit works.
I downloaded the new program today. Any working 64 Win 8.1 out there? best Josef Title: Re: XXHighEnd 2.00 Crash Post by: PeterSt on May 21, 2015, 12:22:20 pm Thank you very much for your report, Josef.
