Title: Installation help for dummies? Post by: oldfogey on June 03, 2008, 10:19:42 pm I'm trying to install 0.9v on my Vista Vaio laptop. I'm finding the instructions hard to follow (why, as an aside doesn't XX install like every other bit of software I've tried). The file to attach to the shortcut as listed in the instructions doesn't appear in the list of unzipped saved files.
Oh, and you're really difficult to find. Googling XX and player doesn't even show the site. Title: Re: Installation help for dummies? Post by: PeterSt on June 03, 2008, 11:45:53 pm I'm sorry you are having problems. I know, the instructions for Vista - by now - are unnecessary complex.
The only thing you need to do is unzip the XXHighEnd-09-v1.zip as it is at the bottom here (http://www.phasure.com/index.php?topic=530.0) into a folder you appoint and run the XXHighEnd.exe coming from that. Please let me know if you encounter any problems with that. Googling for XX will get you porn and players I think. But I think you know by now that the player isn't called like that. :sorry: Peter |
