Title: who is running on xp- let share settings!
Post by: fzman on March 12, 2010, 05:15:07 pm
Seems like most people are running vista or 7, so I thought a thread for us xp folks would be useful.   Please post your findings, so we can share and learn together

thanks!

Am I the only one besides fzman who's using XP?
I have a TRENDS for USB to SPDIF and my TagMcLaren AV192 as DAC
For now my settings are:

Output
- Device: KS: USB audio apparaat >> global
- Engine: #4
- KS mode: Adaptive
- Device buffer Size: 768  (no buffer errors)

Processor Settings
- Proc Core Appointment Scheme: No appointment
- Player prio: nothing
- Thread prio: nothing

DAC settings
- DAC is 16 bit 44.1 K

Services and OSD
- stop services: on

Memory and Disk utilization
- Split file size (MB) : 100

Information
- tooltip : on
- log activities: on

Advices for changes in settings are welcome as I do not understand all of it yet    :sign0144qp7:
