Title: Incomplete Playlist in 0.9y-8c
Post by: arvind on March 22, 2010, 02:28:54 pm
Hi Peter,

When I load a track to the playlist, I dont get the complete details of the track. I have the Artist, Album name is sometimes incomplete (if long), if it is complete then the track name is incomplete, but the track length is always complete.

This problem has started with 0.9y-8.

Thanks.

I am having the same problem.  It seems to be related to the Set screen to font settings feature that was recently introduced.  If I click or move one of the resizing bars on either side of the middle pane, then all the data is shown, but every time the player reappears after playing, the data is again shortened until I once again click on one of the resizing bars.

Aha ... If that is what Arvind means too, I get it !

Thank you Glynn !
Peter

PS: But does this only count for the larger font size ? or do you guys have "options" to let that go wrong with the normal size (which is 100%, and not 125% as W7 denotes) ?

This is the same problem I have too, however in my case it just becomes ok,sometimes, but most of the time it is like this.
By the way can someone guide me as to how to get the screen shot & post it on the forum.

Title: How To attach Screen Shots or Log Files

G'day Arvind ( and others ),

on your keyboard you should find a key labelled "Print Screen" or similar. This key may also be labelled as dual function, in that you have to use the SHIFT key to perform the upper function, but that is something you will need to determine yourself of course.

When you press this "Print Screen" ( or hold down the SHIFT key while pressing it if needed ), a snapshot of the desktop is storaged in your clipboard.

If you then open up the standard "Paint" application ( normally residing in the Accessories menu ) , and choose the "Paste" option , you should see an image of the desktop appear. From here you can simply save it in its entirety, or edit it to show just the area needed using the "crop" function. The latter is handy when all you want to show is an error message window.

When you have your image saved in a folder you will later remember, you can then proceed to attach it to the bottom of a posting reply.

When replying to a message ( or starting a new one ), you will see " + Additional Options... " at the bottom. If you click on that text, it will expand to show a dialogue box , with a "browse" button that allows navigation to where you have stored your images , or log files if that is what you want to attach. If you want to attach multiple files, click on the "(more attachments)" text, which will open up further dialogue boxes.

When you press "Post" there will be a momentary additional delay while the files are transferred to the server here.

Trust it all works,

Cheers,

Russ

This problem occurs with both font sizes for me.
