Title: Playlist focus after STOP
Post by: jarek on May 01, 2010, 08:26:49 pm
Peter,

- is it possible that you always set focus to the playlist area after receiving ALT-S command (like mouse click on playlist area window) ?

- can you disable track / time edit operations in playlist area, only track select should be possible ?

This would improve operation. If one got focus after Alt-S, that remote commands (or keyboard commands)
can choose track with up/down keybord keys. This is great idea, I hope not months of development needed :)
Everybody will enjoy this feature !

Jarek

Hi Jarek,

I agree 100% about the focus thing. There will be more of them, and they must be looked at from a consistent set of (remote) operations. Such a thing did not happen so far. It won't be in the upcoming version as well, and worse, all what *was* there will be destroyed. Only for a while, because it will be setup again.

The edit operations : undoable. You don't want to know how much time I spend on it, but I can't get it different from how it is now. Yes, the most annoying for new users (but no problem once you are used to it).

Thanks,
Peter
