Thanks Russ, really useful.

For anyone who's interested, I've created a jpeg of these AutoHotKeys (attached) that I use as a desktop background on my dedicated XX PC...

Haha, a nice "trick" I have seen from users in my other "life" (ERP), and for exactly the same purpose. Good idea !

But ...

This seems to urge for the red characters to be in blue or something - better readable on the black background.
So, in order to not let Russ change his red into blue, you (Mani) might copy Russ' text into your own temporary post, have a "Preview" of it with the blue (or whatever you want - but better readable) characters, and draw a jpeg from there.

In either case, many thanks.
Peter

PS: Now I can get rid of my sticky note. :)

PPS: What about making a photo of your remote, rework it with Paint or something, and integrate that with your Wallpaper.

PPPS: Or what about one special large hot key (for the remote) which switches between the XX Wallpaper during playing - and this helpful jpeg ? Or maybe an OSD part where the hotkeys show up just in text ? (can be set On/Off next to the XX Wallpaper).

That's a clever idea Mani. Then I thought to myself, the background disappears on my system when in UN-attended mode so this is really only useful for attended mode. Nevertheless, if those shortcuts are in your vision most of the time you will probably remember them more easily.

Here's a blue... But I've really got to get down to some serious listening today...

That seems obvious ... Mani isn't showing the XX Wallpaper, and *thus* his ShortCuts Wallpaper stays ...
Or I don't understand what this is about ?

Mani, thanks again.

ah ... umm ... senior moment here! I've always used the XX wallpaper function and it never occurred to me that anyone wouldn't want the coverart displayed while in un-attended mode. When that option is unticked all behaves as expected.
