Title: Could not find a part of the path...
Post by: DannyD on October 04, 2010, 07:08:17 pm
Yet another error now.  When I hit play or next track, I get the following error:

Error during saving Playlist : Could not find a part of the path
'X:\XXHighEnd-09-z2\XXData\!CurrentlyPlaying.PLXX'

I tried deleting and re-creating XXData.  I re-selected this directory in XXHE as the Data Folder.  I still have the problem.

Any suggestions?

Hmm ... That looks like a leftover from switching OS and driveletters.

Try to delete everything from XXData after XX has been started, next clear the playlist area (play nothing), and Quit.
Now start XX again. That should be allright.

But there's also a Played.dat in your XX folder. Delete that too, before starting XX the first time in above procedure.
And ... might you see a !CurrentlyPlaying.PLXX in your XX folder ... throw that out too.

Ehh, good luck ?
Peter :)

And Dan - I've been swicthing OSes more than a dozen times today, each with the "paths" set to one of the partitions. This just works, as long as you don't load Saved Gallery Results (these are the .LBRY files; you may not even know about this :)). The latter won't work because the drive letter is stored in those files, while the "central" partition may not have the same drive letter for each boot.
