Title: Long time...
Post by: BertD on December 30, 2010, 02:24:09 pm
... since I have been active on this forum (besides lurking).

27th of May 2007 (almost three years back!)

O well, it took Peter this long to create his own DAC (Congrats Peter!) and I thought that this would be a nice time to go public and share some experiences. Not here though, this post is just to get the feeling of this forum.

First I have to figure out XXHighend as player...hardly an easy task for a novice like me. I did manage (took me 2 days!!!) to adapt all settings into the player though (including RAMDisk and Juli@) almost similar to Peters settings so now I can start listening for real and see where things will be heading from there...

At this moment I am finally listening to a very nice "Glitchless" sound... and it sounds familiar!  ;)

More later...

Bert

Nice to have you back Bert!
It was you who inspired me to take my first steps on the path of Computer Based music reproduction. I am still gratefull for that. Hope to meet you soon in your Listening Factory!

Cheers,
Eric

Indeed, there are always ways to find to improve things! But for the sound I have here at this moment it is not needed soon though...   :bye:
