Title: Straight Contiguous 9z-4-1, still low SFS
Post by: boleary on February 22, 2011, 05:57:25 am
Thought I followed everything correctly in the release notes, but I still can't get a SFS larger than 10 with SC. Actually, I started at 65; when I reached 10 and still got a "lower the SFS" message I stopped trying and switched to MC, SFS 165, wich is twice as large as I could go with 9z-4. The sound is really, really great though I cannot turn it up too loud cause its late. It just occurs to me that with Windows 7 SP1 the only tweak I did was to stop indexing. Have shut everything down now, so I will check tomorrow if indexing has anything to do with my SC issue.

If MC can go twice as large compared to before, I wouldn't know why SC won't.

Maybe you tried too long before it at last worked ? I mean, what happens if you reboot and start right away with for example 40 ?
