Title: System Work Out
Post by: Scroobius on August 31, 2011, 09:12:13 pm
I just downloaded "Percussion in Hi Fi" from Hi Definition Tape Transfers recorded in 1960 (http://www.highdeftapetransfers.com/category/290/ ). The sound quality is fantastic and it provides a great system work out. Your friends will be impressed with your system but not sure if they will appreciate your taste in music.

There is a 15% discount at the moment so it only cost £6 - sound quality fantastic and some tracks are even worth listening to musically (well maybe - OK OK I only downloaded it as a demo track).

Its another one of those albums that modern day recording engineers should be tied in a chair, forced to listen to and asked "how far have you come in 51 years?"

Oh and I only downloaded the 24/96 version as I would be surprised with a NOS1 and XX that 24/192 would sound any better - but as always I could be wrong.

Paul

Haha. That should be part of the re-education for most audio engineers! Maybe "human rights watch" could come in between this project :)
