Title: 2 Instances of XXHighEnd.exe in Task Manager
Post by: lasker98 on October 06, 2011, 08:18:39 pm
When using versions 0.9z-6 and 0.9z-6-1 in unattended mode, I always end up with 2 instances of XXHighEnd.exe*32 running once the playlist is completed and UI comes up again.
On initial start up of XXHighEnd, task manager shows 1 each of autohotkeys.exe and XXHighEnd.exe*32.
If I use alt+x to show UI during unattended playback, I will also get a second instance of XXHighEnd.exe showing in task manager.
I'm a new user , so I'm not sure if this is normal or not.
When the current playlist is completed and I want to play new songs, I currently reboot my computer, since I don't know if having 2 instances is ok. This gets me back to 1 instance of xxhighend.exe*32 and 1 instance of autohotkeys.exe.
Is this what I should be doing or can I just add new songs and play these and not be concerned about the 2 instances of xxhighend.exe?

Bill

Huh ??

Stupid question : Are you sure that one of those is not XXEngine3.exe ?
From all you tell it sure looks like it. But of course you are not blind. So just asking to be safe ...

Otherwise, no clue at this moment !

But let me know please,
Peter

Duh! I'm an idiot.
Sorry Peter. You're right. One of them is XXEngine3.exe*32.
I can't believe I didn't catch that. In my defence, they jump around quite a bit in task manager, but still.

No Bill. Not an idiot. Just blind afterall. Haha.
But it's a good thing, because I really wouldn't have known where to start debugging this ...

Thank you for your honesty.
Peter
