There is a small bug in the library (middle pane). When I select the Jazz folder and I drag the slider with the cursor to the bottom it suddenly moves automaticly to the top. It only happens in an folder of 1100 cd's. When i select a smaller genre it works ok. I hope you can fix it in the next version. It does make it awkward to rebuild a gallery from scratch. I have got around the bug by only using the slider a little at a time, but it's obviously not ideal.

Russ, there is a simpler way to rebuild a gallery from scratch. Select (left-click) the first album, and now press SHIFT-END. All albums are now selected without using the scroll bar. That assumes a built-up in the Originals which is very OK right from the start. This is how you do it. This is not how Russ does it. I think I know this from your both earlier given examples on how Galleries should be built with your both particular difficulties in this area. I have my Originals more like Russ has them, which means that you need to go through all the Originals, and pick the "Jazz" etc. from there, bit by bit scrolling through them. Well, this is a pain because of a bug in the software I use for the GUI (and since that "GUI" version it indeed doesn't work well). Btw, it also depends on the number of items in there to scroll. It will come in handy for folders I have pre-sorted into a specific genre/category, for example, all my XRCD releases. Cheers, Russ |
