Title: Problem with Alt I
Post by: SeVeReD on April 29, 2012, 09:24:18 pm
I run xxhe closed and minimized os.  With my computer, (and I think with just this latest xxhe version), when I use 'alt I' to invert phase it doesn't show up on wallpaper as having changed from I/~ or from ~/I, and sometimes at the end of the track (after attempting 'alt I') the music stops playing.  Sorry I didn't bring it up earlier, I've just been hitting 'alt x' and changing phase within the player.  But sounds like you're getting close to a new release... sooo, hehe, fix it?  Anybody else seeing this?

Hey - I just ran into this topic by accident and must notice that I forgot to respond to it. However, it is fixed in 0.9z-7. But :

It works differently now; it can't be done on the fly anymore. Procedure :

Apply Alt-e for Pause;
Apply Alt-i for Invert the Absolute Phase;
Apply Alt-p for resuming Playback.

... With the notice that the Alt-e and Alt-i sequence can be switched around when you like that better. Of course Pausing is not necessary either; It just needs a "stop" in between any Alt-i settings change and a next Play attempt.
