Title: Not Enough Memory 0.9z-7
Post by: Gerard on August 19, 2012, 04:36:56 pm
Peter,

I use Playback Drive now with a 8gb USB stick. It works allright but i get this message. Music keeps on playing though.

What is the message telling? Memory of DDR3 or is it telling something about the USB stick.

 :)

Normal memory. But you bring it as it were related to the USB stick ??

I think this is repeatable, right ? if so, try another album; I think it is the coverart. Not that it really takes too much memory, but certain type of jpegs make things go in a loop which in the situation I'm referring to ends up in too few memory indeed (no matter how many TB of internal memory there would be).

Can that be it ?
Peter

folder XX on SSD

Huh ? What do you mean by this ? That you installed XX on the Playback Drive ? If so, that sure won't work ...

Ok, I understand that it is a bit hottish, but did you mean to say anything with relevance in the bold text ?

And must I understand that the "from there" means the USB stick ?

1: Playing normal (as always) from ssd i do not get the error. (folder xx on ssd)

2: playing from USB does give the error. (Still folder xx on ssd.)

Hot indeed  ;)

Ok, thanks.

Well, it tells me nothing. Can you recognize that this occurs at each new track ?

Same with Unattended ?

What about another stick ?

Peter,

I have no idear why i keep getting this message. I have it with almost every cd. It is really random and i cant see a pattern.

oh sorry.  :(

I have a playback drive now. 500 gb

Not with every new track. Sometime's a new track does not give the message. Most of the time's the first tracks of a cd does not give the message. It is so random that i can't see a pattern.

Unattended: That i will answer later. Il be back
