Title: Display Off in RDC Post by: Scroobius on August 23, 2012, 11:56:37 am Peter - A small issue. Running XX from the audio PC with the "Display Off" option selected works for me - the display does indeed turn off.
However with RDC the screen shown on the display of my audio PC shows the login screen when RDC is in action. That is fine but when I then run XX unnattended the display on the audio PC does not turn off. I can understand maybe why but is there a way I can get the display switch off other than by switching off the service (not the preferred option though in case of problems). Also just a small point it may be worth mentioning in the instructions that the Audio PC needs to have a password in order for RDC to work - not a big point though really. No, at this moment the monitor can not shut off. Maybe later (I must look into this). What I do is switch off the monitor physically. Now watch for the sound to change (with monitor On it is warmer) … Thanks again, Peter |
