Stefano,

Do you recognize that "\Device\Harddisk3\DR4" yourself ? If so, what is it ?

To me this looks like a device you must have accessed before clicking that button; probably from one of those other same buttons in XXHighEnd. Then, after being done with that, you removed that "whatever" and at a next usage for such a button it defaults to your last accessed drive, which now is not there anymore. Hence the error (???).

So, I am not saying that you did that, but something like that would explain the message (which I never saw myself and will be a general Windows message).

But how did this get solved (message not appearing anymore) ?

Regards,
Peter

Peter , thanks for the reply .

The message goes away the second try or by clicking retry and easily the normal explorer comes back . so not a problem .
To answer your question , no I do not recognize the device but your ipotesis may be true since I did play with a ide/ata to sata converter thing recently ; that was for an old Maxtor HDD expolration .

BTW everything , and I say everything is working properly for now . From unattended to minimized to PA , everything is just fine .

And the funny thing is, you can thank yourself for it.
But on the behalf of others, thanks too. You'll understand ...
