Title: 24/96 or 24/192
Post by: xp9433 on October 18, 2007, 01:13:34 am
I was thinking about ripping some of my LPs at 24/96 or 24/192 to hard drive.
Can I play them back at this sample rate through XXHighEnd without having to downsample to 16/44.1 (assuming my DAC can handle it)?

Hi Thomas,

Oh yes. This topic is a bit old I guess. :)
Since a year or so all bit depths / sample rates from 16/44.1 up to 24/352.8 are supported.

Or do you mean you can't get it to work ?

Hi Peter,

no, no... ;) Thank you. I will try the next time in my new system... But the first thought, only 44,1kHz files... was shocking...

By the way: Do you know about problems in the actual Win7 Beta?

Regards
Thomas
