Title: 0.9z-7-5 display problem
Post by: arvind on November 25, 2012, 01:20:50 pm
Hi Peter,

I was attempting to adjust the screen of XXHE for the IPad & suddenly I found that the entire top left screen, above the cover art has gone blank, except for the vol slider & the min OS button. The Arc Predict, Peak extend, phase etc, etc have just disappeared. Any suggestions how to recover the screen?

Have tried rebooting but it doesnt help.

Best regards,

Arvind

Hi Arvind,

This is on purpose - and designed so for iPad etc. usage;

The (at the top) [ 1 ] slider was moved to the left (by you) and this removes the normallly fixed left part of the screen you are missing now. So, slide that more to the right and at some stage you will see all reappearing.
... But I'm sure you don't want that for your remote control ...

Regards,
Peter

PS: Notice that you can save your (remote) specific settings with the [ 1 ] ... [ 5 ] buttons in the left border, after making the [ U ] button active. Press one of these presets for longer than one second and your settings will be saved in there and can be reobtained later by briefly pressing it.
When you organize this for the remote, prepare it on the audio (or intermediate) PC itself, because organizing it on the remote is an awkward excercition.

Hi Peter,

I managed to get the top left on the audio PC screen but somehow now the play, stop, unattended, clear, load area has gone blank. It seems I am doing something wrong. Could you pls let me know how to get it back.

Best regards,

Arvind

Hard to say without a screen shot Arvind ...

(but notice that when you change these kind of things (like the Scaling) that it often needs a quit-restart of XXHighEnd to see all as it really is)
