Title: 64MB limit Engine#1 on XP
Post by: andy74 on October 29, 2007, 08:35:16 am
Hi Peter,

If you ever plan to go back to XP version of your player and do something for XP users, I would like to add one more thing to our wish list.
It is the file size limit for Engine #1 of 64 Mb.

Thanks
Andrey

Hi Andrey,

I understand your wish for this, but it can't be helped. It's an XP limit in the driver area.
The only thing you could do is get yourself a Fireface400 and use the MME drivers from it. It would be bitperfect in the mean time ... (but you wouldn't be able to alt-tab and back to XX, because then sound stops).

So it's either the 64MB limit, a Fireface, Engine#2, or Vista ...
:sorry:
Peter
