I never heard it.

But I also never listen to that sh*t in the first place. ;)

I do have some UMG downloads... Will have to check on this. I would be surprised if I (I speak for myself only) hear that, but... It is discouraging... :( How come they thought of something like this...

Audio watermarking is also supported under Blu-Ray movies and has caused some unhappiness for movie buffs too.

It's easily heard and annoying.  I can't believe they could be so evil and not think it matters.  Sure people can listen through it, like bad am radio, but it does make music less enjoyable.  Oh well, I only listen to ripped  CDs, but I don't like it when the keeper of the keys degrade the product.
