Title: Playlist
Post by: fralippo on March 01, 2015, 06:02:30 pm
Is it possible to add complete albums in a playlist without selecting single tracks?
Thanks.

Hi fralippo,

What are you calling a "playlist" ? Is that the normal area where the tracks go in to play them ?
(I ask because that is what I would call the Playlist Area, while there's also Playlists, which are "saves" of the Playlist Area's contents)

Peter

Hi Peter,

I mean the saved playlists. I once used it but had to load single tracks into it. Yes, I know, when window with all albums tracks is shown you can select them all... but I wonder if you can transfer in the playlist a complete album. From the library (covers).. I'd be nice!

Also, is a repeat function available somewhere?

The mechnism of the Saved Playlist is only capable of saving what's in the Playlist Area. So put in a whole album in there and ...

I understand, but in the end it would save you one click only (OK, two when you include the Clear from the previously done one).
So, select album in Library Area, Clear, Load, Save ...
Nah, I don't think I will make something esepecially for that.

Main reason could be that I myself hardly see the usage of it because I work with Galleries. Maybe that doesn't suit you much, but then maybe this is because you are not used to them ?

Only for one track. That's the [ A ] and [ B ] small buttons at the bottom.

Regards,
Peter

No, I didn't play with Galleries yet. I don't even know what they're :)

Anyway, selecting more than a album from covers (mouse click + ctrl) and then "load" button I get what I need. I just discovered that!

Thanks!

DoubleClick on the Coverart will save you one more step ...
