Title: Custom filter: Message "Playback stopped ....data did not arrive in time"
Post by: JohanZ on April 07, 2015, 11:16:44 pm
Hi Peter,
After a stable situation of the system (no XXHE stops during playback) i switched from Arc Predict to Custom. After one track XXHE stops without user interference and shows a message "Playback stopped because the data did not arrive in time". When i switched back to Arc Predict it works without a message.
Playback is unattended
See logfiles

Last weekend I did the same tests and try to increment sfs to 60 no effect. I'm using Ramdisk.

Any suggestions?

Best Regards Johan

Johan,

This is 1.186-i and this is an unsupported version for it's "hidden" new functionalities.
All I can say is that my settings for the NOS1a should work, an SFS of 4 (or maybe 2) being the most crucial for the Custom Filter to not let happen what you just described.
Anyway, a known anomaly and already so before it was put up.

But solved in the next version.

Regards,
Peter

i have changed the sfs to 2 and its working ok.
I didn't realize it was so critical. Mostly of the time when you have troubles you need to increment sfs.
Thanks.
