Title: Kadavar
Post by: PeterSt on October 01, 2015, 08:29:17 am
Hi there all,

At the Show last weekend I sneaked in a Black Sabbath and one of the auditioners asked me whether I had something of Kadavar.
Ehh, Kada-what ?
I never heard of it and because we didn't have a (fast) wired internet connection I also could not acess Tidal for it, thus, bad luck.

I was told that Kadavar plays like Black Sabbath. Well, now *that* seemed quite impossible to me, but of course I was intrigued. So yesterday I obtained an album from Tidal ("Berlin") and my visitor appeared to be right. Now that is strange ...

The (3 German) guys must have explicitly bought the same electric guitar and the singer must have borrowed the voice from Ozzi Osborne, and next ...

If you listen through the album, the only thing you notice is that Kadavar seems unable to create the variation in each song like Black Sabbath always does it. But hey, no other band that I know does that / can do that.
Otherwise it is very (very) strange that this Black Sabbath sound plays on and on without being disturbed. It is a sort of background music.
I know, impossible, but I still judge it like that.
