Title: XXH 2.03 in MinOs disables/resets Power settings back to max again
Post by: christoffe on November 19, 2015, 07:39:23 pm
Hi Peter,

on my system XXH 2.03 disables/resets with MinOS the power settings back to max. (in 10240 + 10565)

Joachim

****Details: in Processor Power Management I reduce the speed to 60% and after MinOS speed comes back to 100%

Hi Joachim,

I am almost sure we talked about this before;

The Power Scheme Settings is under control of XXHighEnd, unless you tell XXHighEnd('s Settings) not to use XTweaks. So it does not matter what you set in the Power settings - XXHighEnd will change it (only when in MinOS).
Do NOT manipulate these things yourself while you also let XXHighEnd use XTweaks, because things *will* get inconsistent while all in there has been carefully thought over and tested.

But :
If you see different behavior from what you are used to, then we should proceed on this; I am not aware of anything (regarding W10 I'd say) and I surely did not change anything in that area (or I forgot ;)).

Best regards,
Peter

Hi,

I never used Xtweaks, because I didn't find the right settings, whatever selected.

The "problem" is, that I want to lower the CPU speed, which is not possible via the BIOS, so I use the "Power options" with a set to 60%, which works fine here.

With XTweaks the CPU speed will ........... ? I Think not, or?

Yes, it will. :) Unless something is strange with your PC.
