Title: Cant Set "Time Performance" and "Time Stability Index" - RAM-OS Post by: Scroobius on January 26, 2016, 07:05:45 pm Hi Peter,
In 586 Base (minimised) I can set Time Performance (TP) and Time Stability Index (TPI) with reboots being performed by XX as per normal. However, when I then boot into 586 RAM I lose both the TP and TPI settings (i.e. they show as "use refresh" and "not the best"). If I then (in 586 RAM) attempt to change the settings I get the "Something went wrong at changing the setting" in both cases so it does not appear possible to get the settings optimised. I am sure that first time I tried this the optimised settings in 586 Base were carried through when booted into 586 RAM. But it wasn't (I think).
More interestingly, I too have been sure that I saw it coming through a first time. Or actually it was a little different : I tested it, did not work. Later for the same boot session or a next (I don't know anymore) I looked again and it worked. This must have been with 10565. Then 10586.0 came about and I couldn't get it to work. Because of this I looked in 10565 and there it also did not work, as if I had dreamed it. Mere point is : I can't even reason out where it should get this data from. It is such strange stuff ... I think some day I will find out. Meanwhile ... who cares. Sound is great over here and I can't compare anyway. Haha. I took a note to come back with this and report...
