Not sure if others are using this as well, but I have my Music Server (old desktop pc) now remote in the electric cupboard (meterkast) near the router. It is headless and goes to sleep when not used. Via WakeOnLan I start it from my laptop and next via RDP I can work on it and connect to the Audio PC. SQ is the same but having the Music Server remote and out of sight makes it convenient. Mocha WOL works great. iPad connects via wifi to router and wakes up Music server PC via LAN. Configuration only needs MAC adres of PC. :veryhappy: |
