Title: SQ and LAN Cable Post by: boleary on October 06, 2016, 11:51:22 am Anyone tried listening for differences in SQ using "audiophile" LAN cable to the audio pc when using RDC? Can this cable make a difference? If we have a long run must we use CAT 7?

I don't see how this can matter; With the proper setup all is (automatically) copied to the Audio PC's RAM (RAM OS booted from RAM assuemed) and from there it is played. Mabe others have different experiences while for me this is only dumn theory (read : I'm not even going to try).
