Yes, I can imagine that you got some lows from your system. But I listened to it too, and it is really an "interesting" test album. Say for how things should not be done. Anyway, with Bieber now behind us you can just as well advice this album to your kids. Am I right ? IOW in my view Beck is heading for the wrong direction with this. But maybe he sees new audience. And loses the old with it. More to the point, it looks like some mixing engineer had the idea to make the bass twice as loud as the rest, and added some compression on the fly. Over here, with possibly some more bass power in the system, it is quite unlistenable. And strange. I will listen to it better, later. Thanks ! Peter |
