Hi Juan,

Of course I am not the turntable specialist but I don't think this can be any good. It is the opposite of a rock-steady base/platter and blowing against it will make it move (wobble).

Besides that we can wonder the real audiophile behind that product as I don't recall to ever have heard such distorted music through my YouTube speakers. As a whole thing the commercial fails just the same, IMO.
But as you can see many will buy (have bought) it.

Now don't hesitate to try one !

Peter, no, I'm not going to buy this turntable, it just piqued my curiosity, but like you, I doubt about its sound quality. I have not used a turntable for a long time, although I still have an old Thorens somewhere.

But seriously ...
I think the idea is great although I don't know what it to gain these days on belt driven rumble free bearings etc. etc.; I guess "somewhat". But then there should not be downsides and I think they are there. This btw includes the speed control which I envision to be PWM (Pulse Width Modulated) and which will have (it has to have) a "resolution" as such. So of course there is some mass (but not really much (this is a ngetaive) as it seems) and when not careful the micro-variation in speed (control) is audible like jitter (but of the very high (= slow) kind.
