Hey Tore,

Hmm ... I'd say that when you receive such a message that the Internet (!) connection is really not there. Is that possible ? So I really mean Internet as such (I think XXHighEnd uses Google.com to check for the presence of the Internet).

Kind regards,
Peter

PS: it is Booker's Guitar and I don't see it on Tidal for The Netherlands (but have it anyway).

Hi Peter!

No problem with internet.
It just happens with  some album

Tore, if it happens again, can you give me a screenshot of the message so I can be sure what we are talking about ?

Thanks,
Peter

big enough ?

Yes big enough. And this message occurs in one occasion only : when www.google.com fails.
So maybe you can try that when it happens ?

Or are you saying that it always happens with one album (like the one from Eric Bibb which I can't test). If so, do you have another one ?
(but notice that I regard this impossible - if only that message is exactly the same (more of them exist in various forms)).

It just happens with some albums, not often.
I can play Eric Bibbs other albums.
I don`t remember other albums but i will report it when it happens again

Thanks.
What it is about for me is that I like to see some prove that it indeed is caused by an album, which I then must be able to test myself. But as said, it is impossible. The code looks something like this :

Test
  www.google.com
If Errored
  present message Tore shows

... and there is nothing else which can cause this message.
But indirectly everything can happen. So for a wild example : Tidal's response may cause Internet to fail temporarily on your side.

Oh, you may also tell what it actually is you do when this happens. So I started with a Search for that album (what else to do) but there I had to stop because I don't see the album. But maybe you are further with it (like Prepare) ?

Best regards,
Peter

When i press www.google.com all i OK. (on my music PC)

The album is Booker`s Guitar and the download with XX 2.07 looks OK (on my Music PC)

The message comes when i try to play it on my Audio PC

... which does not have an internet connection (I assume).
So the message in itself is justified. But something must be not right with how the album has been "prepared". I am thinking of the Prepare having finished, but ending with a state which indicates it has not and now the Audio PC tries to Prepare it when you press Play, and it can't because of no Internet connection.

If you go to the highest level of the Album itself, which will be
\Booker's Guitar\
(there will be some more in that folder name like the date)
and you zip that folder (which will include the sub folders) and send it to me (e.g. with FileMail), I think I will be able to see what is wrong with it (wrong with how XXHighEnd deals with it).

Hi Peter!

I have prepared all of the Eric Bibb album on Tidal and with many of them the preparation stops. When i look in the map of concern the map "Streams" is missing

Tore,

See below and the red bordered albums. 6 of them. Including the one with the thick yellow border, those are the ones I did not own already. They all were Prepared as should, and the yellow bordered one is "MP3" so rejected because of that.

Thus at least no problem with those ...

It isn't so that the ones which don't work out at your end, end up with yellow borders ?

Regards,
Peter
